SplitCSV.com is not only the easiest way to split a large csv file, it is also the fastest and easiest way to split content that is in an Excel file (with a .xlsx extension). You can now upload an Excel file directly to Split CSV and split it using all the same features you would use for a CSV file. Here’s how:
Click the Choose File button and upload an Excel file. Note that only the XLSX format is supported: XLS files can not be processed.
Once the file is uploaded and processed, you will see a dropdown with a list of the sheets within the file, and the estimated number of rows in each sheet.
Select the sheet you’d like to use, then click Update.
The tab selection will be saved.
You can then click Split Options and continue using all the existing Split CSV features, exactly the same as if you uploaded a CSV file or pasted in some content.
