What is Split CSV?
Split CSV is the easiest way to split a CSV file into multiple pieces. You upload a file, specify how you want it cut up, and boom! We give you the pieces you asked for.

We were looking for a clean, efficient, secure, simple way to split a CSV.
How much does it cost?
Split CSV is free for all CSV files. We charge for premium features as listed in our
pricing page. The paid options start at $3.99: thanks for your support!
Do I need to sign up or create an account?
No. You can create an account to let you track your CSV splits.
Is there a recurring charge?
No.
How do you handle payments?
We use
Stripe for all our credit card payments. We also accept
Paypal payments.
How are orders processed?
All orders are added to a processing queue and processed in priority order, with high priority orders processed before standard priority orders. High priority orders include:
- Paid orders.
- All orders by customers who have purchased a recurring Split CSV subscription.
- All orders by customers who have purchased a daily, weekly or monthly one-time plan.
How many files can a split contain?
Our system will reliably handle splits that produce less than 100000 files.
I want to do things with a CSV file that you don't do?
How long is my data retained?
Our default data retention policy is for all content (uploaded files and output files) to be deleted 24 hours after the split is complete. Any deleted data is permanently removed and can not be recovered.
Users on premium plans can modify the retention policy to maintain access to content for longer periods, up to a maximum of 30 days.
